Come to terms quickly with your accuser while you are going with him to court, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the guard, and you be put in prison. Truly, I say to you, you will never get out until you have paid the last penny.
Report From the Annual Meeting (December 20, 2009)
We are grateful to God for the following:
- We met the quorum needed (10% of our members, or 271 people) in order to vote on changes to our by-laws.
- The updated Relational Commitments document was passed with a unanimous “yes” vote.
- All the pastors and elders up for reaffirmation were reaffirmed.
- Dave Osborn was elected to the position of Deacon and Church Treasurer.
- Paul Johnson was elected as Financial Secretary.
- Ruth Gulbranson was elected to the position of Church Clerk.
