And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
New TCT Church Planting Residents Begin (August 2009)
Meet the Louis Family:

Brett, Molly, Joshua, Olivia, and Isabelle are coming from Clinton, Mississippi to join us for their 2009 year of residency at Bethlehem. They are being sent by Morrison Heights Baptist Church. Brett has completed his Master of Divinity degree at Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. Brett describes his church planting vision in four main areas: centered around a message—the gospel of Jesus Christ, focused on a particular goal—making disciples, dependent on the Risen Savior, and then trusting him to bring the increase. At this time, Brett and Molly are praying for direction as to where the Lord is leading them to plant a church.
Meet the Vaden Family:

Jason, Nicole, Hannah, Michal, and Eden are coming from North Little Rock, Arkansas, to join us for their 2009 year of residency at Bethlehem. Jason's ministry objective states, "To declare the excellencies of Christ through passionate, gospel ministry that is adorned by consecrated living unto the glory of God for the joy of God's people." Jason has a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. The Vadens are open to the Lord's leading about where to plant a church, but they are leaning to return to North Little Rock.
