Relational Commitments and Deacons

Amendments to Our Constitution & By-Laws
Jon Grano presented proposed changes at the Quarterly Strategy meeting on July 27, 2008, and the congregation voted to approve changes at the Annual Meeting on December 14, 2008.

Changes are in three categories:

1. By-Laws changes (deletions) clarify the deacon role at Bethlehem
2. Constitutional changes clarify Church Covenant wording (read new Church Covenant)
3. Constitutional and By-Law changes add Bethlehem's version of Peacemaker's Relational commitments. (See tracked changes in Constitution and By-Laws, with Bethlehem Relational Commitments document in By-Laws by reference.)
